Place du Canada revamps a beauty

Place du Canada

This building, designed by architect John Burnell Parkin (1911-1975) was constructed during theCanadian centennial celebrations in 1967. At the time, Montreal was one huge building site. We need only mention Expo 67, the Montreal Metro system and Château Champlain by way of example.

P&R Desjardins was commissioned by Canderel to carry out a significant renewal project in the lobby’s common areas. Realized by the American firm, Rogers Partners of New York and seconded by L’ŒUF s.e.n.c, this job incorporates very bold technologies that are sure to lend the space a unique character. Completing the rehabilitation of a lobby is a real challenge in the specialized field of interior design and our team is very proud to be a part of it.
