Blakes, Cassels & Graydon S.E.N.C.R.L./s.r.l. chose 1 Place Ville-Marie to house their new office in Montreal and P&R Desjardins to build it.

Approximately 70,000 square feet of office space on the 30^th & 31^st floors of the building; it was built according to the design planned by architects Lemay and Associates (Pierre-Antoine Brais, Designer) for the tenant’s portion and Groupe ARC Design (Aimée-Jill Bradley, Designer) for  the Landlord portion.

This project of high quality included particularly the drilling of the concrete slab on the 31^st floor to allow the construction of an exceptional and monumental staircase. Shockingly, the staircase does not rest on the floor, but is entirely suspended from the ceiling.
