De Granpré Chait

P&R continues their long collaboration with law firm De Grandpré Chait, which dates back to the 1970s, when the firm was named De Grandpré Godin. Since thene, De Grandpré joined Chait to form an alliance specializing in real estate, construction and business law; ranked 20th among legal firms in Quebec.

After a long stay at 1000 de la Gauchetière Ouest, these lawyers chose to offer themselves a new environment equipped with day-to-day facilities with more open areas to promote teamwork, natural light and modular conference rooms according to their varying needs.

The fit-up that we executed for them occupies 36,000 square feet on the 25th & 26th floors of 800 René-Lévesque Ouest; a building located in the heart of Montreal’s underground pedestrian network and directly connected to the metro and bus systems of the town, to the Central Station as well as to the many shops and restaurants of Place Ville-Marie via the Fairmount the Reine-Élizabeth Hotel. The design of the office is signed by Menkes Shooner Dagenais Letourneux Architectes.

The carpentry and cabinetmaking work had to be manufactured, finished and installed in accordance with the Architectural Carpentry Standard (MNA) 2nd edition-2014 – quality grade “First Quality” by a contractor member in good standing of the “Association des Manufacturiers de Menuiserie Architecturale du Canada Canada” (AWMAC) having completed over the past three years at least five projects of similar technical complexity and work value. This work was carried out by our sister company “Menuiseries Mont-Royal Inc.” which meets all of these criterias.
